ULLU drops the trailer of ‘Assi Nabbe Poore Sau.’

MUMBAI: Starring Raqesh Bapat, the series is a heart-wrenching story of the murderous killing of 100 innocent children

ULLU has been creating ripples with its multi-genre content offering. In the past year, the OTT platform has carved a niche for itself by creating content that is inspired by true incidents. After Peshawar and Paper, ULLU app now gets for its audiences a gut-wrenching series named ‘Assi Nabbe Poore Sau’. The OTT platform dropped the trailer today. Making his digital debut will be, the chocolate boy of Indian television Raqesh Bapat who will be in a never seen before avatar.

The show is inspired by a heinous crime that was committed by a devil with a human face whose intention was to see 100 mothers crying for their children.
As deadly as it may sound, the crime thriller will shake you off your seats. The thought behind the mastermind’s play was to kill the innocence of children specifically targeting little boys. He used to trap the little boys with his unique ways, and then strangle them to death. He would then dismember their bodies, cutting them in pieces, and dissolve the remains in Hydrochloric Acid, so any trace of their murder would vanish from the face of the Earth. Directed by Akshay Singh and produced by ULLU Digital, the show casts some really powerful actors like Raqesh Bapat, Aastha Chaudhary, Vikram Mastal amongst others in pivotal roles.

Commenting on the launch of the trailer, Vibhu Agarwal, CEO ULLU mentions, “A lot of research and effort is put into making a show which is sensitive, thrilling, and gripping all at the same time. At ULLU we believe in telling stories that exist but have never been told. Assi Nabbe Poore Sau is a rousing tale of a demon who was unfortunately born as a human, that will make your stomach churn from within and every scene will make you angry and somewhere gasp in amazement at how someone can stoop to such levels of inhumanity to vindicate a personal loss. We hope the story reaches a million houses and the audiences enjoy our earnest endeavor.”

On playing the role of Junaid Alam and making his digital debut, Raqesh quipped, ‘It took me some time to picture myself as Junaid Alam. I have always played a romantic boy next door on screen and to transform myself into such a strong multi-layered and extreme grey character got me the jitters. I am extremely thankful to Akshay Singh, the director who thought that I shall be the perfect fit for the role. It was only his belief and imagination that made me take up this challenge. Also, I am glad, my audiences will get to see me in a very different avatar.  Fingers crossed, I hope people like our efforts’.

Catch the trailer of Assi Nabbe Poore Sau and stay tuned for the show to launch on 9th March 2021 only on ULLU App.
