MUMBAI: Telly actor Dheeraj Dhoopar has won over a million hearts as a National telly icon because of his good looks and on-screen charm that's effortlessly portrayed through his roles.
He started his showbiz career as a model who featured in many commercials of the leading brands of various products.
Interestingly, he has also completed a course in fashion designing right before venturing in the field of acting.
Dhoopar made his television debut with Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg, wherein he played the character of 'Ansh'. It was the sets of this show that he met his ladylove Vinny Arora and eventually, the duo tied the knot in Delhi on 16th November 2016.

This Indian television soap was broadcasted on Star Plus from 8th February 2010 to 29th April 2011. The story-plot revolved around the lives of the four sisters namely Purva, Smriti, Aakashi and Anokhi, who live in Baroda with their parents - Sevantilal and Revti Shastri. In this show, Dheeraj played the role of the 4th sister Anokhi's husband's character, who's name is Bhavesh.

This Indian Hindi-language television series aired on Sony Entertainment Television and was loosely based on the Pakistani television drama Dhoop Kinare. It premiered on 3 October 2011 and ended on 28 March 2013. It's plot was of a love story revolving around a team of doctors working at Dr. Kotnis General Hospital in Lucknow. Herein, Dheeraj initially played the role of a gun-shot patient named 'Amar Tiwari', who was admitted to the hospital by 'Nidhi'.
3. Prem Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka

Indian television series that was aired on Colors TV. The show premiered on 25 April 2011. The story revolves around the lives of two sisters from Vrindavan - Simar and Roli, who respectively marry both the sons of the Bharadwaj family - Prem and Siddhant and how they become the perfect daughter-in-laws of the Bharadwaj house by managing various difficult situations and keeping-off evil eyes from their family. In this show, Dheeraj played the male protagonists' role 'Prem Bharadwaj', who was the female-lead Simar's on-screen husband and Bharadwaj family's elder son.
4. Karan Luthra in Kundali Bhagya

Currently, Dheeraj is portraying the most suave character of his acting career so far through the role of Kumkum Bhagya's spin-off show Kundali Bhagya's male-lead's role of 'Karan Luthra'. The plot of this Indian telly show is of the love-story amid the show's leads - Karan and Preeta, who initially hated each other but the former marries the latter out of vengeance against all the troubles that has been caused to his family because of her. Meanwhile, female-lead character 'Preeta' tries to clear these misunderstandings and eventually wins his heart.
5. Aakesh/ Shakura in Naagin 5

Dhoopar had a special cameo role in Ekta Kapoor's fifth installment of Colors' most popular supernatural show Naagin. While male protagonist Sharad Malhotra was being diagnosed by Covid-19 last year, Dheeraj entered the show for a brief timing for playing the role of antagonist 'Aakesh' or 'Shakura', who marked his entry as Sharad's character 'Veer's' imposter and was laying his evil eyes on the female protagonist character 'Bani'. Dhoopar marked his exit as soon as Sharad resumed shooting for the show post-his recovery.
