MUMBAI: Seen in shows like Mayavi Maling, Naagin, Dream Gil and Desh Ki Beti Nandini among others, actress Aparna Kumar will soon make her way into another unconventional show.
We are talking about Sony TV's Kyu Utthe Dil Chhod Aya.
According to sources, Aparna will play the role of Malini Devi.
Set in 1947, Lahore, pre-partition India, Kyun Uthe Dil Chod Aaye narrates the story of three young girls - Amrit, Vashma and Radha. This story brings forth their dreams, hope, aspirations and new found love... all this at the brink of Independence. Knowing that tomorrow will be different, the three girls will set out to conquer love and will stand the test of time across borders.
Essayed by Gracy Bitin Goswami, Anchal and Pranail Amrit, Vashma and Radha will narrate the stories of their dreams and new found love. The show also includes Zaan and Shagun Pandey in pivotal roles of Randheer and Uday.
