MUMBAI: For producer Chitra Vakil Sharma, who is awaiting the release of Rashami Desai- Tanuj Virwani starrer web-series “Tandoor”, the lockdown made her realize the true value of her loved ones.
Chitra says 2020 was a very interesting year for her because lockdown taught her the value of time and people. “I have connected back to all my old friends, relatives with whom I had lost touch in the rush of daily living. I am back to my childhood hobby of painting which kept me busy,” she shares. Chitra reveals she has always been a religious person and was keen to read about vedas, puranas and understand Gita and is thankful to the lockdown for giving her the moment to read a lot. “It gives meaning to life and a lot of unanswered questions are answered,” she adds. Talking about her wish-list of things, Chitra says she would love to travel across the world and build a home for dogs.
“We all are born with return ticket so why be scared of COVID-19. Before I go to cloud land, I want to see the whole world. Also, I am working towards making a retirement home / abandoned house for dogs. It pains to see when dogs retire from civil services they search for an adoption home,” she adds. On the work front, Chitra says work has been underway on a lot of projects, which have been developed.
