It’s the time of the year when our life gets lit with lights that give us a new zeal and enthusiasm to carry forward. Yes, it is Diwali today and as we get ready to enjoy our share of delicacies made at home, we decided to have a word with our favorite telly actors to know their plans for the day. Second runner up in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 Rashmi Desai, who is back in Colors’ Uttaran said, “This is my first Diwali with Nandish, so I am really excited about it. We are having paath and laxmi pooja at our place. I have decorated my house with lights and diyas and have made a rangoli. Friends and guests will come over and in the evening I will burst crackers.” Gorgeous Prerna Wanvari is also excited for this diwali. Here is what she said, “Well… everyone knows about my relationship with Khalid and guess what, he is coming to my house for dinner. I am really excited about it. My house is decorated with lights and diyas. I will make a rangoli to suit the occasion. We will have krishnaji and laxmi pooja at our place. I have worn a pink golden colored anarkali salwar kameez. I will be going to my cousin’s place and later we are going to burst crackers and that too the scary ones.” Aamir Ali aka Bajrang Pandey of SAB TV’s FIR said, “Since I was shooting for the past few days, I did not get time to attend my card parties. I have got two days break from my shoot, and I shall be with my wife Sanjeeda Sheikh today.” Ragini Khanna, who was last seen anchoring Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Colors averred, “After four years I am at home with family enjoying Diwali. I was actually waiting for this day for a long time now. I have done lot of shopping and I have worn a salwar kameez today. My house is full of lights and diyas. Now that I am at home I will make rangoli outside my house entrance. We will also have laxmi pooja at my place and in the evening I will go to my relatives and friends’ place and then lastly we will burst crackers.” Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 winner Gurmeet Choudhary added, “I was very excited for Diwali to come. Usually we celebrate Diwali in a grand way and today is no exception as my friends are coming over to my place for a mini get together and also the excitement level is very much high as they are still in the mood of my victory of JDJ. Debina (Bonnerjee) has decorated the entire house with lights and diyas and she also has designed beautiful rangoli. I am in Indian attire and I will perform laxmi pooja. In the evening we might burst crackers although Debina is scared of crackers.” Lastly, we talked to Vandana Pathak who said, “We always celebrate Diwali with lots of enthusiasm and love, but this time since my dog passed away and we have not recovered from the shock it will be a normal Diwali pooja. My kids are still on the verge of recovery so I will be getting a new dog for them.” Tellychakkar.com wishes all our readers a very happy and safe Diwali…
