MUMBAI: For quite sometime now, especially after the first wave of Covid-19, with the steady drop in the rising Covid cases and the mild relaxation of the Covid-19 protocols by the end of last year itself, we witnessed that many known Telly and Bolly fames jetted off to the Maldives for a brief getaway.
Right after the wrap-up of Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2, the show's leads Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan had their mini getaway in the Maldives. They were eventually followed by Hina Khan, Tapsee Pannu, Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani, Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra, Kim Sharma, Dheeraj Dhoopar and wife Vinny Arora, Shabbir Ahluwalia and family and many others had their share of beach fundays there.
With the entry of 2021, more and more celebrities jetted off to the Maldives such that in no time, the holiday destination turned into a mini leisure-hub for the Indian telly and Bolly artistes. In recent times, many of these popular stars like Hina Khan, Erica Fernandes and others too took another round of a trip to the Maldives for a somewhat longer getaway. Erica even celebrated the completion of her 5 years in the entertainment industry over there itself and she was treated by her fans back in India who sent over flowers and cakes for her all the way to her resort in the Maldives.
Recently, actress Surbhi Jyoti is also seen vacating in the Maldives as well and looks like she is enjoying every single moment from her trip.
