MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with an interesting update from the world of television.

Sony SAB's Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey continues to win hearts with its very refreshing and engaging storyline. Viewers are hooked to the show due to its relatable day-to-day life stories with an essence of nostalgia. Starring the original Wagle series’ Aanjjan Srivastav and Bharati Achrekar, the show features Sumeet Raghavan as the Jr. Wagle (Rajesh), depicting the life of today’s common man.  (Read here: Wagle Ki Duniya is about building good memories and this is the right time to bring back memories of the show from when it aired: Aanjjan Shrivastava)

TellyChakkar got in touch with Sumeet Raghavan (Rajesh). In a candid conversation with us, Sumeet explained why he took up the show. He said, “Some projects are no-brainers. Sony SAB and JD Majethia have collaborated to bring some amazing shows in the past. These shows are perfect family entertainers and enjoy a following across all age groups and geographies.”

The actor added, “As an artist, it is extremely fulfilling to witness this love coming from the audience across the country. Wagle Ki Duniya is one of India’s most iconic shows, and to be a part of the cast, successfully carry a legacy along with Aanjjan Ji and Bharati Ji, and be in a show produced by Aatish Kapadia and JD Majethia is something I couldn’t simply refuse.”

Speaking about receiving positive feedback from viewers, Sumeet quipped, “The response for the show is terrific. We have received all positive feedback until now. Fans are the show, and it is so heartwarming to read the reviews on social media. I am thrilled and proud to be part of Wagle Ki Duniya and would like to thank all my fans again for their tremendous love and appreciation.”
