MUMBAI: Zee TV has been a pioneer and a trend-setter in shaping television content over the past three decades and once again, it seems to be changing the face of music reality shows with its latest non-fiction property, the Indian Pro Music League (IPML). While the world of sports has seen several league competitions, this unique music league has six teams representing different regions of India, battling it out against each other in a musical championship. While the show has entertained the audience till now, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions on shooting in Maharashtra, no fresh episodes of the show are being shot and it seems like Delhi Jammers captain Sajid Khan is missing shooting for Indian Pro Music League.
Since the show started, all the six teams have been going all out to put their best foot forward and entertain the audience. One such team that left the viewers spellbound every single time was Delhi Jammers, who has been applauded for their fantastic performances time and again. Team captain Sajid Wajid has been influential in the team’s progress throughout the season and while he has been busy composing music for movies and other projects, he is missing Indian Pro Music League (IPML) during this lockdown.
In fact, the ace musician also mentions how the Indian Pro Music League (IPML) has helped him re-establish himself with his fans. As captain of Delhi Jammers Sajid reveals, “I am missing Indian Pro Music League a lot. The energy of the show is very different, and I enjoy shooting for it. I must add that Indian Pro Music League has also given me a chance to restore people’s faith in me that I can make good music and take Wajid and my legacy forward.”
While Sajid misses shooting for Indian Pro Music League, this weekend, we will see the best performances by all the captains from the first four innings on the show. In the meantime, here’s wishing that the pandemic and everyone’s suffering ends soon. Please stay safe and indoors.
To watch the best performances of all the captains till date on the show, tune into the Indian Pro Music League this Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm, only on Zee TV
