MUMBAI: In this pandemic and lockdown situation we have seen that OTT is the only source of entertainment for the fans, we see many platforms coming up with great content to deliver best. We have also seen many Bollywood actors who have made their Digital debut in the recent past, from Abhay Dol to Abhishek Bachchan, they have all impressed the fans with their work on OTT.
And now another Bollywood actor is soon to make his digital debut, and he is none other than Riteish Deshmukh. As per the buzz Riteish Deshmukh is making his OTT debut with a Netflix film which will be directed by Shashanka Ghosh who has previously helmed hits such as Sonam Kapoor’s Khoobsurat and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Veere Di Wedding.

It is said that this untitled web-film will feature a top South actress alongside Deshmukh. This Netflix Original was earlier supposed to go on floors in late February but was pushed further after the Maharashtra government announced the lockdown. The film is now scheduled to hit the floors in July if the shooting restrictions are lifted by then. Riteish Deshmukh is said to be playing a larger-than-life character in this social-comedy, meant for a 2022 premiere.
