His decision to walk out of Kkusum seems to have already other producers' thinking. Anuj Saxena, who had restricted himself to the lone persona of Abhay Kapoor for a long time, now has offers pouring in, we hear.
One of the whackiest offers that has come his way is for a role in Star Plus' Hello Dollie. Dollie, played by Karishma Randhawa, was loosely modeled on the Princess Diaries, but has long since become a fantasy serial for kids. The show's producers deny that they are looking for a romantic interest for Dollie, but how else will Anuj fit into the frame?

Of course, the buzz is also that Anuj is yet undecided on the offer.
Will he, or won't he, say Hello Dollie?
Cezanne has a new good friend?
Thebuzz on the Kassauti's set is that Moonmoon is Cezanne's latest woman off-screen as well besides on-screen as she is playing Sampada who happens to be Anurag's close friend in the show. She has a good track in the show and has been roped in to add spice to the show. If the buzz is true we should salute Cezanne Khan for falling in love with all the co-stars from Shweta Tiwari to Geetanjali to Urvashi Dholakia, although he has always denied all the link up's in the name of being just good friend. Moonmoon is a divorcee and was married to Sai Pajanjpe's son previously. She was previously seen in Kkusum before the leap happened. Hope this new friendship is long lasting. We tried calling Moonmoon for a confirmation, but managed to reach only her voice mail.
Murli Sharma ke karname ab London mein!
Bollywood baddy Murli Sharma (Special Squad, Sea Hawks, Dial 100, Maqbool, Main hoon Naa, Karam) is a big foodie, we knew. But this is a bit too much. When you go to a place like London, first thing that you do is go shopping, but not Murli.. Well, he went around looking for Batata Vada when he was in London last week shooting for Harry Baweja’s Sunny, Amisha starrer! And he actually managed to get hold of some but only after paying four pounds. (About three hundred and twenty rupees). "I was bored of croissants and sandwiches. I couldn’t help it," laughs Murli.
This is not the end of Murli's adventures in London. Once in the city, the actor realised that his firang fans had problems pronouncing his name. So he cut it short to Lee. “My unit members were quite amused to hear the hotel staff calling me "Mr. Lee” “Good morning Mr. Lee” But the English men were happy with this name. “Though I am sure my grandmamma wouldn’t be too pleased if she was alive because she was the one to keep my name,” laughs Murli.
Celebs spotted!
We s potted some celebs in different moods during the two days that rain made work impossible. While Vinta Nanda was spotted at Hungaamma Restro Bar in Oshiwara on Thursday, 28 July with three other friends, we saw Malaika Arora walk down Juhu braving heavy rainfall. Spotted also were Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. Vinta was seen sitting in a corner table and having a ball of a time. Dancing to the music, toasting and chatting nineteen to the dozen. She was there from around 9.30 pm till 11 pm and beyond.
We also caught a glimpse of Nandu aka Gaurav Gera on 27 July at Myst next to Fame Adlabs having dinner with four friends. He was mostly busy on his phone -- probably checking out the well being of friends and family.
Rakshanda Khan was seen with Sachin Verma having a good time at the InOrbit mall. Karan Wahi of Remix fame was busy shooting water balloons at the mall.

The name's his claim to fame
We don't know if Tony and Deeya Singh consulted anyone when they gave Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin its title, but we do know that the duo have the blessings of Sanjay Jumaani for its next venture.
DJ's, the company floated by the Singhs, will debut its next big show on Sony soon. And although neither Tony, Deeya nor Jumaani are willing to reveal the name of the new serial, Jumaani confirms that the two had come to him recently to get his approval and the title appropriately tweaked. Jumaani definitely has his hands full. He recently named a Balaji serial, Kalyani, for a South Indian channel, and is busy advising Gaurang Doshi and Vipul A Shah on the names of their new film ventures.
Sarrkaar's going abroad!
Whether its been able to pull in the viewers here is debatable, but Zee seems content enough with the Manish Goswami creation to decide to launch Sarrkar on its Middle East feed.
The entire Sarrkar cast, we hear, is being carted to Dubai on 27 July for a lavish launch there. The serial, based loosely on incidences and characters inspired by the Gandhi family, promised much, but has been a dampener thus far. Promising performances by the likes of Rohit Roy and Mauli Ganguly aside, the story has been meandering, despite potential. Mauli, by the way, may not be interested in making it to the Dubai launch, a little bird tells us.Will Sarrkar click overseas? The much needed 'foreign connection' in the story, might just help!
'Piya Ka Ghar' welcomes two new members
The Zee show that was recently in news due to Narayani's exit as Megha has roped in two new faces to complete the hate triangle with Koel taking the lead! Megha, disguised as Koel (Gargi Sharma) has returned to the Sharma household and she is helped by the evil twin brother-sister duo Mahaan(Sandeep Bhasali) and Mantra(Kanika Maheshwari) the kids of Avinash & his one time flame Shweta). Mahaan and Mantra are brought up by Durgashankar, the family foe (Bhavanishankar's brother). Influenced by Durga's thoughts, the kids (Mahaan and Mantra) are out to avenge the traumatic life they and their mother has gone through and are using Koel as their pawn.
'Sarrkar'..What could have been!
Neena Gupta, Shweta Kawatra and Nikki Aneja --- no I am not giving you the cast of a new serial. We hear that they were part of the original cast of Zee's political saga, Sarrkar. Neena Gupta was to play Divya Seth's character, mother of Ronit and Rahul Roy; Shweta Kawatra was to play Shweta Salve's character and Nikki was to play Tisca's role. The only actress who seemed to have survived the pilot is Mouli Ganguli who plays the distressed daughter of the family. If the present cast is anything to go by, the original cast could be called a master coup of sorts. Why did Manish let go of this amazing cast…Only God knows…and of course Manish knows too.
Oops! We goofed up....
Remember the story we broke about Rakesh Bapat joining television? (Click here for related story) . Well, we said that the serial might be called Run or Saloni...well we were wrong. We stand corrected. It's called Rang, and this we have got from reliable source. But the funny part perhaps just begins here. Just after we put the story up, our print and electronic brethren picked it up and flashed it with aplomb...some said that the serial was called Run/Saloni and a televion gossip show, said the show was called Run and Saloni (wonder what that means). Our sincere apologies to all those whom we have misguided.
Party...wait till I am 30!
Urvashi Dholakia refuses to throw a birthday bash quite so soon. When we ask her about her birthday celebrations, she says, “I am not in Mumbai and will be back late evening. I have not planned anything for my birthday. But I will throw a big bash once I am 30 as most of my friends are waiting for me to get to thirty," she adds laughingly.
