OMG! Kareena Kapoor Khan demanded this amount for playing Sita on big screen

As per the reports, Bebo has increased her fee for a period drama where she will play Sita

MUMBAI: Kareena Kapoor Khan is recently making headlines for her upcoming magnum opus. According to a report, Bebo has increased her fee for a period drama. The actress will essay the role of Sita in the film.

Speaking about the movie, the makers will be re-telling the epic Ramayan from Sita's point of view. Kareena is the first choice. The report further mentioned that the actress charges somewhere around Rs 6 to 8 crore. But for this period drama, she charged a whopping 12 crore. The film requires at least 8 to 10 months of prep work and shooting.

The actress has two more films in the kitty. She will be working on Veere Di Wedding 2 and Hansal Mehta's film. Only after she wraps these two projects, Bebo will be able to start working on the period drama.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and the makers are yet to make an official announcement about the film.

Recently, the actress was making headlines as her 2019 film, 'Veere Di Wedding' completed 3 years.

Kareena will be next seen in Advait Chandan's ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ with Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan. She is also a part of Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’. The film will also feature Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor in pivotal roles.
