Shahid Kapoor pays visit to Shiamak Davar Dance Academy

Students of Shiamak Davar’s Dance Academy were in for a surprise recently when ex student Shahid Kapur paid a surprise visit to his alumnus. In fact, Shahid had come to drop his younger brother Ishaan who is a part of Shiamak’s special potential batch, a place where Shahid himself started from, years back. All the students were excited to see the Bollywood star and interacted with him. And I the interaction, the students got some interesting tips from the ace dancer. Quipped Shahid, “I have come to the Academy after almost twelve year and the amazing part is that everything is the same, the instructors, the students and the energy. Whatever dancing I’ve learnt is largely because of Shiamak and SDIPA. The institute has grown to be bigger, larger and better just like Shiamak himself has. It was a spontaneous decision to come here today to drop Ishaan and I’m so happy I did.” The star stayed back to watch the dance routines as the students are preparing for a show next week in which his brother is also performing. Shiamak was extremely touched by Shahid’s gesture. He said, “It always humbles me that even after becoming such a big star, Shahid still gives back to the dance school and has such respect for it. This just goes to show how good a human he still is. For me, this is what makes Shahid so special.”
