Neeru Bajwa plays a bar dancer!

Shalini Kapoor and Neeru Bajwa will play bar girls in Hari Mirchi Laal Mirchi aired on DD. For this serial's fifth episode, an enormous dance bar set was erected and the two actresses performed as bar dancers and showed some fabulous moves. Neeru, who was eliminated fron Star One's reality dance show, Nach Baliye and shown the door in Star Plus' Miilee, has stalled her marriage plans with beau Amit Sadh to concentrate on films. The actress currently has only Hari Mirch...in hand. Anytime now! As days pass by, Raymon Singh's excitement and nervousness is mounting. Raymon who recently shifted into her new house at Lokhandwala complex in suburban Mumbai, is into her last month of pregnancy. Raymon's baby is due in the second week of December. "I am not really finicky about having a boy or a girl, but yes, I just hope the baby is healthy," says the would be mother. Work is away for a while from her, but as soon as she delivers her baby, she will bounce back, promises the actor. Simone for a cause! Simone Sigh is looking to make a difference! The elegant lady whose claim to fame thus far was Sony's Henna and the low key Kasshish on Zee has recently completed an album on Protection of Girl Child for a Delhi based NGO. "Finding out the gender of a girl child is illegal and in many villages, the families get the foetus aborted. I took up this project because the issue still persists in India and it needs attention. It is a nice album made by a Delhi based production house and the songs have been sung by a Canadian-Punjabi singer," says Simone, who is currently in Chandigarh. Simone is also shooting for a new serial but chooses to keep tight-lipped about it. New star cast for dying Kkusum Kkusum is on the verge of ending after running successfully for five years on Sony yet the star cast seems to be expanding endlessly. Amit Behl and Nasir have been roped in Kkusum and have got good roles in the serial. While Amit Behl is playing Kusum's brother, Nasir is playing Kumud's love interest. "Kkusum might conclude by end of November and we have taken these two actors who have important characters and the story revolves around them. For the past five years we have been doing good work and plan to end it in a Balaji style," says director Jeetu Arora. "I play an NRI father who has lost his wife so returns to India with his two daughters to stay with his mother and sister and stays in a chawl with them. Nasir plays Kumud's tenant," says Amit Behl who is visibly excited about his role in Kkusum. Interestingly, the new arrivals on the show have no clue when the show is coming to an end -- they are just happy to be associated with Balaji Telefilms. Who wouldn't be? Kohinoor off to Goa! The cast and crew of SaharaOne's Kohinoor will be off to Goa in the wee hours of 11 November. It's sure to give them time off from their tiring 14 hour schedules! Loads of sunshine and sunbathing on the beaches ought to do the cast some good! Meanwhile, the show that has reached the heights of extreme drama and action, will now move focus to Goa, where Kali (Manish Wadhwa) will totter on the edge of betrayal. He will refuse, for the first time, to be part of evil acts. Shooting will continue in Goa for 10 days, after which the cast will return to Mumbai and resume work here.
