Dilip Joshi talks about his school days and his best and worst subjects

MUMBAI: Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma actor Dilip Joshi has been a part of the industry for over 20 years. Dilip is loved for his portrayal of the character Jethalal from Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma.

Dilip Joshi started his acting career in 1989, playing the character of Ramu in the film Maine Pyar Kiya. Dilip was fortunate enough to discover what he wants to become from his school days. He also managed and got successful by fulfilling his dream of becoming an actor. He has also worked for the show Kabhi Yeh Kabhi Woh, Hum Sab Ek Hain, Shubh Mangal Savadhan, Kya Baat Hai, Daal Mein Kala and Meri Biwi Wonderful. He appeared in the children's comedy Agadam Bagdam Tigdam as Uncle Tappu, as well as in the 2009 films Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge and What's Your Raashee.

Recently, Dilip Joshi was interviewed by TellyTalk, Joshi was asked about his best and worst subject in school in a rapid-fire round. Dilip revealed his worst subject as Algebra while he was best in Geography.

Further, in that same interview, he was asked “what would he love to do if possesses a superpower?” to which he replied, "I would love to take all the negativity from each and everyone I meet."

Dilip Joshi is currently shooting for TMKOC in Silvasa. The shooting for the show used to happen at Goregaon before the lockdown but they had to move out of Maharashtra because of the lockdown situations. The set-in Silvasa was also damaged by the cyclone 'tauktae' and the show faced a lot of damage financially.
