MUMBAI: Rajan Shahi's "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" took an unexpected turn when Sirat realised that she loves Kartik. Though she hasn't shared it with anyone else, Mauri confronts her about it because she feels this is the reason why Sirat has been avoiding Kartik.
Ranveer's father overhears Mauri and Sirat's conversation and wants to use it against Sirat. He intentionally invites the Goenkas for dinner so that he can ask Sirat about it.
While Manish denies going for dinner, Kartik along with the others go there. During dinner, Ranveer's father casually makes a conversation about Ranveer leaving home because of Sirat, and asks if Sirat was still in love with Ranveer, why did she agree on marrying Kartik.
