MUMBAI: Aniruddh Dave, who is one of the most popular actors, has beaten COVID.
The actor was shooting for a web series in Bhopal when the Coronavirus infected him. Post that, it was a long arduous battle he fought for 55 days in hospital. He is taking a brief rest before he starts facing the cameras once again. Senior actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik was also a part of the web show which Aniruddh was shooting for.

For the uninitiated, the two had become good friends ever since Kaushik cast him in his film 'Choriyan Choron Se Kam Nahi Hoti' which went on to win a National Award. In an interview with a leading portal, Aniruddh shared that Kaushik helped him a lot when he was hospitalised. He told ETimes TV, "Satishji helped a lot. He spoke to the doctors and a lot of people for me."
Further, Aniruddh revealed how the senior actor made him change his caller tune from 'Mera Naam Joker' to 'Mr India'. “Actually, my caller tune was 'Kal khel mein hum ho na ho' (from Raj Kapoor's 'Mera Naam Joker'). Satishji said that I should change it to the 'Mr India' one,” said the actor. Kaushik himself has undergone a lot in the COVID period which started from March last year and still shows no signs of waning; he and his daughter Vanishka had contracted COVID and both were hospitalised.
