MUMBAI: Mandira Bedi's husband Raj Kaushal's sudden demise has shaken the entire film industry. He was just 49, all hale and hearty until the night before he breathed his last. Little did anyone know that he won't wake up the next day.
Ever since the news of his demise, celebrities, well-wishers have been expressing shock and grief on social media. Many are also recalling fond memories with Raj who was not just another ordinary man but an acclaimed filmmaker, screenwriter.
However, when Mahima Chaudhry reacted to Raj Kaushal's sudden death, she came at the receiving end of trolls.
It so happened that Mahima stepped out in the city with her kids recently. The paparazzi snapped her and after clicking a few pictures, they asked her to share her memories with Raj Kaushal. To which, she responded by travelling back in time when Raj Kaushal had taken her around the city to show how Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated in Mumbai.
Later, she also said that she has known Raj ever since he was a little boy before showing a throwback pic of him saved on her phone. Further, mentioning Mandira, she also added that she will go to meet her personally saying, "It's very sad, very very sad; especially because their kids are so small. 49 is such a young age.".

Mahima's intentions seemed right but the expression on her face didn't go down well with most of the people on the internet. As soon as the video of Mahima's reaction to Raj Kaushal's death surfaced online, netizens called her out for being 'insensitive', considering she had a smile on her face while expressing grief on Raj's death.

Meanwhile, Mahima, on her Instagram feed, posted a picture of Raj Kaushal and penned an emotional note that read, "Extremely shaken And saddened and in complete disbelief to know about your sudden departure #rajkaushal. Gone too soon. You will be missed my dearest friend. ..I wish you so much strength my dear @mandirabedi may god be with u & family.".
