MUMBAI: Himani Shivpuri is a veteran actress in the entertainment business. She has been part of Bollywood movies like Hero No. 1, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Biwi No. 1, etc.
She has also been part of many television series like Doli Armaano Ki, Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi, Ghar Ek Sapna, and Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah.
Currently, she is seen in the serial Happu Ki Ultan Pultan, where she is essaying the character of Katori.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Himani and asked her what is the difference between shooting for television and Bollywood.
To which, the actress said that shooting for movies is relaxed as it goes on for a good three-four months, whereas television is on a fast phase, where you shoot for five days in a row so the continuity doesn’t break. They don’t get time to think and relax as the shooting needs to take place to keep the episodes running.

Whereas in movies, the actors get time to chill and are a little stress free than while shooting for television.
We asked her about her upcoming projects, to which she said that there are some in the pipeline but owing to her schedule she is unable to fit in a work diary.
She had to let go of a really good OTT project and couldn’t work with her favourite director David Dhawan owing to her prior commitments.
Well, currently the audiences are enjoying watching Himani as Katori in Happu Ki Ultan Pultan, and we wish to see back on the big screen soon.
