MUMBAI: Radhika Muthukumar is an artist which is a visual delight on television.
She is currently seen in Colors’ show Sasural Simar Ka in the lead role opposite Avinash Mukherjee. She plays the role of Choti Simar in the show.
We got in touch with Radhika and in an exclusive conversation, Radhika mentioned her experience shooting for the show and how she misses the Dipika Kakar, who recently made an exit from the show and also played the original Simar in the earlier season.
Radhika shared, “I am learning a lot from my co-actors. I try to improvise each scene by incorporating what I have learnt while shooting with my co-actors. With regards to shooting with Avinash Mukherjee, I am really happy that people are loving my chemistry with him and ‘Sirav’ (Simar and Aarav) together and I hope the audience loves us in future too.”
When asked about shooting with Dipika Kakar and Jayati Bhatia, Radhika shared, “I absolutely miss shooting with her and it was overwhelming to share screen space with Dipika. I learnt quite a lot and she was very supportive and she used to guide me well. With regards to Jayati ma’am, I have no words as she is a veteran and a fantastic actress. I not only learn from her but she is someone who is jovial in nature. I take acting tips from her to enhance my scenes and perform better so it is amazing!”
