Sehban Azim, who essayed the role of Karan in Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain, produced by Cinevistaas is happy that he got to play a challenging role. However, he feels the popularity of the character could not be gauged correctly as his track got prominence in a phase where there were no TRPs.
Talking about it, Sehban says, “I got a lot of mails and calls from fans who appreciated my character and track. But I really missed the ratings when my track was on. We had quite a lot of high points and it would have been great if I could track the ratings after my entry happened. Nevertheless, I had fun working with Cinevistaas again.”
Sehban goes on, “In Dill Mill Gayye my role was that of a man of less words. I had to do all the talking through my eyes. Hence I wanted to take up a role where I speak through my actions and words. Karan was a multi-layered character and I am glad that a major track has opened up post the death of Karan.”
Though Sehban has a movie schedule in his kitty, he would love to do more of television now. “Yes, I am open to more challenging roles on TV,” states the actor before signing off.
Sehban, we wish you all the luck…
