MUMBAI: PV Sindhu started playing badminton from a young age and eventually went on to establish herself as a successful sports star.

A recipient of the sports honour Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, the pretty lady made her international debut in 2009. She is the first Indian to become the Badminton World Champion.

PV Sindhu is pretty active on social media. She regularly shares glimpses from her personal and professional lives to update fans and followers about her whereabouts.

She has yet again taken to her Instagram handle and shared a lovely picture. In the picture, she has flaunted her Olympic-nail-design.

PV Sindhu has qualified for the women's singles in Tokyo Olympics.

As she gets ready for the Olympics, she expressed her excitement on her social media page in an interesting way. Sharing the picture, PV Sindhu wrote, “#olympicfever #10daystogo #tokyo2021”

Netizens took to the comment section and filled it with love emojis while some others wrote comments such as ‘All the best’, ‘All the very very best champ’, ‘All the best.. Come home with a gold’, among others.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently interacted with Tokyo Olympics-bound athletes. During the same, he interacted with Sindhu and in a lighter vein said that he will try to eat ice cream with her after she comes back from Tokyo.
