MUMBAI: Actress Prachee Pathak has been seen in a variety of unconventional shows on television.
Speaking exclusively to Tellychakkar.com, Prachee shared some interesting details on the kind of characters she likes to portray. Prachee shared, “Actually it’s my effort to take a different kind of characters everytime and that’s why I don’t take every project that I am offered. I am very choosy about my projects. I am a pass out from National School of Drama (NSD) and I do not want to be labelled or typecast as an actress.
Udann was a very different show and I haven’t taken up a project after that as I will do something which I extremely different from what I have done so far. I’ve done comic characters as well. I did a show called Afsar Bitiya and I played a comic character in that show. I now want to do something which breaks my image and has to definitely be performance oriented. As an actor, I should be able to challenge myself. I am also open to OTT platforms. “
Prachee was last seen in Udann on Colors which was a show about Chakor, a young girl, who was kept as a collateral for money before she was born grows up into a free-spirited athlete. She raises her voice against the system of bonded labour in her village.
Prachee played the role of Tejaswini Desai Rajvanshi in the show.
