MUMBAI: Veteran singer Udit Narayan's son Aditya Narayan has been a part of the telly world for years now. Aditya, who started off his career as a child artiste, acted in noted films and sung many songs including the famous Chhota Baccha Jaan Ke.
After studying music in London, he returned to India and signed his first film Shaapit as a leading actor. Side by side, he also continued working as a TV host for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa at the tender age of 18.
Now an established singer himself, Aditya is hosting Indian Idol 12 currently. He recently revealed how much he was being paid as a host during his initial years in the industry. Aditya, who is a successful host, also shared that now when he is offered crores, and that it pains him to turn down the offers.

Speaking with a news portal, Aditya Narayan said, "When I first set my foot in the world of television by hosting Sa Re Ga Ma Pa at the age of 18, I was being paid Rs 7,500 per episode. It used to be a huge amount for me at that time. So now when they come to me and offer in crores, it pains me to say no to them.".
Further in the interview, Aditya said he would rather love to call himself a 'struggling musician' than a 'successful TV personality. "Call me a struggler, a failure, work in progress or underrated, but I would love people to add the word singer or musician along with it.", he said.
The Shaapit actor is thankful for the TV industry for making his career but at the same time, he revealed that the problem is that people have forgotten the fact that he is a singer too.
