Shall we dance?

The air is thickening with the buzz about celeb couples being short listed for the second season of Nach Baliye. While there are some who have already given a nod, a few couples had to decline this exciting offer; reason being, a refusal by their better half. We are talking about two duos, Rinku - Kiran Karmarkar and Renuka Shahane - Ashutosh Rana. The co-incidence here is that the female counterparts are game, while the men are killjoy!
"We are not doing Nach Baliye as Ranaji is very busy with his outdoor film schedules. Thus, it is not possible to do this dance show, which requires five months of our commitment. But I would have loved to be a part of it," smiles Renuka, who is busy penning a script besides looking after her kids. This is Rinku Karmarkar version: "Kiran is not interested in doing the show but I want to! The other day I was joking with my colleague, Ali Asgar, that maybe we should participate as a couple since we are really interested while our partners are not." Oh, come on guys, be a sport! Mr. Khan's fear psychosis Looks like Cezanne Khan, popularly known as Anurag of Kasauti Zindagi Kay, is off media. It seems that he's very skeptical of talking to journalists for fear of being dragged into controversies. To add to this, he assumes that it's Shweta Tiwari (Prerna of Kasauti..) who is spreading rumours about him. A little birdie told us that when a reputed journo contacted him for an interview, Cezanne had his guard on, "Mere ko koi interview nahi dena hai", he said and hung up. It is obviously his call, to speak or not to speak to the media. But we would like to remind Mr. Khan that people recognize or write about you only because of your character Anurag which was popular once upon a time. In the current track, Prerna (Shweta Tiwari) has been carrying the show successfully forward with the aid of Mr. Bajaj (Ronit Roy) and the young generation of actors like Tina Parakh and Manoj Bohra. And the only way Cezzane has been grabbing headlines is for his past affairs with Shweta Tiwari, Geetanjali Tikekar and Urvashi Dholakia, and the current one with Shubha. We'd say it's better to enjoy the limelight while it lasts, kya pata kal ho na ho!!! Tassnim's quiet birthday plans The vengeful Mohini of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Tassnim Sheikh, turns a year older on 4th August. "It won't be a pompous birthday for me as my hubby Samir, who is the Merchant Navy, is on the ship." For those uninitiated, this talented actor recently surprised her better half by gifting him a mini-vacation to Bangkok on his birthday. "I am just back from that trip and have spent quality time with Samir", she says. Coming to Kyunki… we notice that Tassnim has been out of action for quite some time. "I am actually on one month leave from the show. Fifteen days are still pending and I intend spend it with my mom, who is not well", clarifies this actor. We wish you Mohini, oops, Tassnim a very happy birthday in advance, and hope that you'll be back with your malicious moves on Kyunki….soon. After all Meera is lonely without you! Rakhi tiesRakhi ties If you take a jog down memory lane, you'll remember that in Kkusum, Rajesh Kumar aka Rojesh of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, played Nausheen Ali Sardar's brother. And off-screen too, Nausheen considers him her brother. Similarly Tassnim Sheikh, who is popularly known as Mohini of Kyunkii, considers Anuj Saxena her brother. In their case too, the Kkusum factor is common; they both featured in the same show. We must say these actresses are setting an example by bonding in a different way. So this Rakshabandhan, you know what will keep these stars busy!
