Tanmay Singh, writer of popular shows like Aahat and CID has now turned director. His directorial debut is titled ‘<em>The Masterpiece</em>’ starring Preeti Jhangiani (remember <em>Mohabbatein</em>).
Tanmay says, “It is something which has never been attempted in India or internationally. It is a 45-minute film with a single character throughout the film.”
The director is not yet planning a theatrical release but is planning to first send the film to international festivals. A DVD release has been planned thereafter followed by a TV release.
