MUMBAI: Actor Tanuj Virwani is getting some rave reviews for his recently released web series Tandoor, and now the actor is back once again with another upcoming web project titled Cartel which will premiere on ALTBalaji.
Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actor Tanuj Virwani, with regards to the web series and the character played by him. The actor expressed his excitement and revealed that he will be seen playing Major Arjun Mhatre aka Major Bhau who is a part of this criminal family, the first family of crime that rules the city of Mumbai. He is retired from the army.
Sharing more details about the shooting process the actor revealed that it was a great journey shooting with such an amazing bunch of talented people in this process of making something high octane and unmatchable. The actor also disclosed that the fans will surely love the storytelling and their characters which are drawn beautifully in the show, as they have overall more than 100 actors in this particular project.
Talking about preparation the actor has done for this web series, the actor revealed he had to go through some physical training because he has few hand-to-hand fight sequences in this series, which demanded more physicality.
Giving some insights from the BTS moment the actor revealed it was fun working with all the cast especially Jitendra Joshi and Rithvik Dhanjani, and also says that he is fortunate enough to work with Supriya Pathak who is one of the finest actors in our acting industry. He added that they all treated Supriya Pathak as their mother and they all were very well taken care of.

Cartel is all set to premiere on 2oth August on ALTBalaji, and it has an amazing list of the cast which includes, Supriya Pathak, Tanuj Virwani, Jitendra Joshi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Pranati Rai Prakash, Divya Agarwal, Girija Oak Godbole, Amey Wagh, Monica Dogra, Vikram Kochhar, Vibhav Roy, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Mrinal Dutt, Krishna Kaul, Aditi Vasudev, Keval Dasani, Kannan Arunachalam, Sushrii Mishra, and Anil George.
