MUMBAI: And TV is gearing up for a new show Ghar Ek Mandir - Kripa Agrasen Maharaj Ki.
The show stars Shrenu Parikh and Akshay Mhatre in the lead roles.
While Shrenu plays the role of Genda, Akshay will be seen as Varun.
Akshay's character Varun hails from Delhi and he belongs to a wealthy business family.
In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Akshay was asked about how he prepped for his role Varun.
Akshay said, ''I am still learning because I tend to speak the Mumbaikar Hindi tone. I am constantly trying to be there as Varun. One of our creative directors hails from Delhi, so I used to observe him. I watched some films and actors and the way they talk. It was a mixture of a lot of things and I am still in the process of getting there.''
Furthermore, when Akshay was asked about the one thing he learnt first of being a Delhi guy, he said, ''For me, it was more than what comes out of your mouth, it is just the attitude. I can see that my body language has changed a little bit now.''
