MUMBAI: Reality show Bigg Boss is back this year but with an all-new host and medium. Bigg Boss OTT premiered on Voot on August 8 and is hosted by ace filmmaker Karan Johar. The big drama and action from the house can be viewed live, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
With the digital edition, the Big Boss viewers will be treated to a one-hour special on Voot. Viewers will have access to exclusive cuts, round-the-clock content drops and a fully interactive version with celebrities.
The 13 celebrities in Bigg Boss OTT are Neha Bhasin, Nishant Bhatt, Karan Nath, Zeeshan khan, Milind Gaba, Pratik Sehajpal, Raqesh Bapat, Ridhima Pandit, Urfi Javed, Divya Agarwal, Akshaya Singh, Muskan Jattana and Shamita Shetty.
Today we will tell you a little about actress Shamita Shetty...
1. Shamita Shetty is the sister of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and the sister-in-law of businessman Raj Kundra.
2. Shilpa Shetty made her Bollywood debut in 2000 with Mohabbatein. Many remember her as the girl from the hit song ‘Sharara Sharara’ from the movie Mere yaar Ki Shaadi Hai. Shamita featured in several other films such as Cash, Zeher and Fareb. Shamita has also worked in Tamil and Telugu films.

3. Not many know this but Shamita Shetty holds a degree in interior designing. Before her acting career took off, Shamita interned with ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra. She has designed Royalty, a club in Mumbai, IOSIS spa in Chandigarh and a few properties abroad. The actress owns a company called the 'Golden Leaf interiors'.
4. Shamita Shetty is a contestant on Bigg Boss OTT but this is not her first experience with the reality show. Back in 2009, Shamita had participated in Bigg Boss 3 but quit the show on day 34 to attend Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s wedding. She also took part in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 9.
5. After ‘Cash’ which was released in 2007, Shamita took a short hiatus from acting. She made her comeback in 2017 with the web series Yo Ke Hua Bro. She was most recently seen in the 2020 film The Tenant and a web series titled Black Widows.
