MUMBAI: In an actor’s life, every once in a while, a role comes around that demands just a little bit more. From picking up the nuances to getting into the skin of the character, an actor is required to exhibit the emotional truth in each scene. Sony Entertainment Television’s period drama Punyashlok Ahilyabai that starred child actors Aditi Jaltare and Krish Chauhan in pivotal roles of Ahilyabai and Khanderao Holkar respectively, will now come to an end as the show takes a leap and starts its ‘yuva adhyay’. The actors have been on this journey for over eight months now, pushing boundaries, performing with utmost conviction, have undergone extensive trainings and given their absolute best.

Sharing more on the same, Aditi Jaltare said “Being a part of Punyashlok Ahilyabai has been the most gratifying and fulfilling journey as an actor. I have loved, learnt, laughed, stumbled, fallen, and picked up so many good things and made so so many memories. I am humbled by the audience’s love and fueled by the desire to push boundaries and aim for the sky. The cast and crew of Punyashlok Ahilyabai has become my extended family and I will forever be thankful to them for their patience, kindness and support. Lastly. I would like to say that even though my track is coming to an end, I promise to be the show’s biggest fan always.”

Sharing more on his fruitful journey on the show, Krish Chauhan said, “It has been nothing short of an honor to be playing a pivotal part in narrating the story of the legend ‘Rani Ahilyabai.’ The audience has showered us with insurmountable love and I am beyond grateful for it. As the show takes a leap and starts the yuva adhyay, I am even more excited to witness the extra-ordinary chapter that lies ahead for the show. I would like to thank the makers for trusting me with this part and to my co-actors for all the love, laughter , memories and joy. Most importantly, I would like to thank our viewers for opening their homes and hearts to us every day! Needless to say, all beautiful journeys must come to an end, I take back with me a truckload of memories!”

Furthermore, the child actors extended a warm welcome to the new actors coming on board to play the grown up Ahilya and Khanderao ‘Aetasha Sansgiri and Kinshuk Vaidya’ as they said, “ We are so excited to see how Aetasha didi and Kinshuk bhaiya will give a new life to the show. Both of them are such incredible actors, perfectly suited for their parts. The viewers are in for a treat.”
