Jhumma Mitra, who plays Durga Sen in Jeannie Aur Juju on SAB TV, is super happy as she is celebrating her birthday today (5 January 2013).
Shares Jhumma, “Usually on my birthday, I distribute clothes to an orphanage, and I did exactly the same during last diwali. I will worship Sai Baba and thank the lord for everything that he has given me. Yesterday, I met ace numerologist Sanjay Jumani who was instrumental in changing the spelling of my name for better prospects. Later had dinner with my close friends.”

Further, talking of her day’s programme, Jhumma says, “Today, it’s a full-on family day for me as I am not shooting today. You know what, I got loads of gifts from my friends. One of them gifted me a pretty purse. My mother gifted me a cell phone while my father, has made some investment plans for my future. My nephew gifted me a chocolate bar. My sister and brother-in-law usually send me gifts from USA which I am awaiting.”
Finally before signing off, the actress avers, “I am thankful to all my friends and fans for wishing me on my special day. I am humbled.”
