EXCLUSIVE! Kaveri Priyam on her character in Ziddi Dil Maane Na: Monami belongs to a rich family and has everything on her platter

MUMBAI: Kaveri Priyam is popularly known for her role Kuhu Rajvansh in Star Plus' show Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke. 

The actress won several hearts with her stellar performance and bubbly nature as Kuhu on the show. 

Post Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke went off-air, the actress was seen in Shakti - Astitiva Ke Ehsaas Ki in a completely different role. 

And now, Kaveri is gearing up for her new show Ziddi Dil Maane Na which will be airing on Sony SAB.

The makers had released the promo a few days ago which got the fans excited. 

TellyChakkar got in touch with Kaveri who spilt beans on her role. 

Kaveri said, ''I play the role of Monami. She is a doctor and has a very rich background. Her father is a doctor and has his own hospital. Monami has everything on the platter but she wants to do everything on her own. She is willing to do something for society.'' 

The actress further added, ''Monami knows that not everybody can afford luxury treatment in the hospital that her dad has. She has an army link in the family and wants to be like that. Hence, she enrolls herself in an army school.'' 

Ziddi Dil Maane Na also stars Shaalien Malhotra in the lead role.
