MUMBAI: &TV now gears up to present for the first time on Indian television an unheard and untold story of Lord Shiva’s bal roop, with its new mythological fiction show, ‘Bal Shiv’.

Essaying the role of Bal Shiv in the show will be child artist Aan Tiwari, who is all set to mesmerise the audience. As for the grown-up avatar of Mahadev, well-known television actor Siddharth Arora has been roped to essay the character.

Bal Shiv stars Mouli Ganguly, Shivya Pathania, Kripp Kapur Suri, Dakssh Ajit Singh, and Praneet Bhatt among others.

Popular TV actress Pallavi Pradhan will also be seen on the show where she will essay the role of Maina Devi.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Pallavi who spoke at length about her character and much more.

On being asked what made her take up the show, Pallavi said, ''The concept itself was new for me. I have played a lot of roles where I was seen as a saas. So, this time I thought that doing a mythological show will be completely new for me and I should try this. I always wondered how these shows are made. It is completely different from what we normally do.''

She further added, ''There is a lot of attention to detail in terms of costumes, dialogues, script, and settings on the set. I have always been mesmerised by all this. It is a good choice being a part of such a show.''

Pallavi has just started shooting for the show.

"There's a lot of hard work involved in making than the regular shows. One has to be extremely patient,'' she adds.

Pallavi reveals that she was stunned seeing what all it takes to make for a mythological show and how actors invest so much effort.

Lord Shiva had taken several avatars but had never experienced childhood and a mother’s love. Produced by Zee Studios, Bal Shiv will depict the untold mythical katha of the mother and son’s eternal bond through exploring various chapters of his childhood and self-discovery.
