We recently got to know that Ishq Par Zor Nahi's Raj aka Lakshya Handa is all set to enter the show Maddam Sir. We rang Lakshya and asked him about his character in the show and you would
"The name of my character is Avtar Kapoor, he is the owner of a very big and famous marketing company, where the character of Karishma Singh joins in post leaving her police force job, and I am playing her boss, he is very arrogant, hold a lot of attitudes, he doesn’t like to waste time, for his time is everything, every second is money, for example, he plays pool in his office so that he doesn’t waste time to go and play billiard outside, he likes investing in a lot of business opportunities, venturing into new things where is he sees money, he’s got a lot of “I, Me and myself” attitude in him... "
"But since it’s a dramedy (drama plus comedy) show everything will be shown on a lighter note, and a lot of fun side will be explored in this character as the story progress, I am really excited to play this character as it’s quite different from what I have played and I have always loved sab tv shows and comedy, trying my hands on comedy for the first time", he added.
Talking about his experience he shared, "Being an entertainer always likes to bring a smile to our audiences' face and this show does justice in that .. hope everyone loves my character as much as all sab tv shows characters are accepted. They always become a household name one remember for life. It’s one such show that has already garnered a lot of love, hoping to have a share of it too. Signing off as Avtaar Kapoor"
