MUMBAI: Pandya Store on Star Plus is one of a kind show.
The show has gained immense popularity for its concept and the strong characters. The best part about the show is that each and every character comes out differently and has a separate track which contributes to driving the story further ahead.
The show has Pallavi Rao aka Prafulla in the negative role and shedding light on what she likes most about her character Prafulla, Pallavi said, "I love everything about her. I love the way her character grows, I mean Prafula is very emotional with Raavi, Anita, she is very revengeful with Dhara , Suman , she is funny with her husband, she is different she is got all shades , she thinks she is very intelligent, she has everything in her, you say which emotion you want and it’s there. Recently, I did the scene where I had to cry and shout for my daughter to Raavi that how did you slap her and how you sending the divorce papers , so I cried , I am shouting also , I cried, I am fighting for my daughter, so I love that , I get a mixture of everything to play."
When asked about shooting and sharing screen space with Krutikka Desai, she shared, "I am very focused so same goes for her, so when we prepare for the scenes we are very focused, if she thinks that Pallavi we should do like this so yes we do it like that, I feel very happy she guides me also at the same time and your part also it comes as it is, she never interferes in anybody’s work. She does her best and infact she is very supportive when it comes to scenes and all, so I think it’s one of the reason it comes out very nicely and when the work is over then it’s fun she is fun loving, she cracks jokes in between, working with her is very good very supportive."
Pandya Store is an Indian television drama series that premiered on 25 January 2021 on Star Plus. The series is a remake of Star Vijay's Tamil series Pandian Stores. Produced by Sphere Origins, it stars Kanwar Dhillon, Alice Kaushik, Krutika Desai Khan, Shiny Doshi, Kinshuk Mahajan, Akshay Kharodia, Simran Budharup and Mohit Parmar. Gautam and Dhara Pandya, a middle-class married couple, manage the Pandya Store. Apart from their business, Dhara also looks after Gautam's three younger siblings.
