MUMBAI: After Ayushmann Khurrana giving movies like Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Vicky Donor, now comes Aparshakti Khurana with his movie Helmet which again deals with a taboo subject but with humor and a social message. Helmet has some amazing cast like Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, Pranutan Bahl, Ashish Verma and few others. Directed by Satram Ramani, Helmet finally premiered today on ZEE5 . Ever since the trailer of the movie was out the fans were eagerly waiting for the movie as the trailer promised a great concept with some amazing performances.
The story of the movie Helmet throws light on the fear of asking for condoms in public. The movie also throws light on issues like STDs and AIDS because of the negligence of using condoms. Three friends in the movie try to sell the consignment of condoms and the challenges faced by them with something amazing you shown in the movie.
Talking about the screenplay of the movie, it will surely keep you hooked and booked till the last scene. Also the direction given by Santram Ramani is amazing.

Talking about the performances no doubt this is out and out Aparshakti Khurana show, this is his first movie as a lead and no doubt he has carried the movie on his shoulder, on the other hand Abhishek Banerjee and Ashish Verma has some amazing one liners and they will surely make you laugh. Actress Pranutan Bahl is looking very beautiful in the movie and no doubt she has potential to do many more projects like this. On the other hand Anurita Jha, Ashish Vidyarthi, Jameel Khan were decent on their part.
Talking about the positive point of the movie, it is the unique concept which makes the movie completely different from any other movie. This is the first movie which is talking about condoms, also the message given towards the climax is amazing. The performances delivered by every actor in the movie is amazing. The screenplay is also solid and also there are few one liners which will make you roll on the floor laughing. Apart from all these factors the BGM also plays an important role and it enhances the viewing experience.
The negative point of the movie can be that there are few scenes in the movie which are practically impossible and the audience may fail to connect.
Well having said all these points, Helmet is surely worth your time and can be seen with the entire family over the weekend for its amazing storytelling, with some great performances.
