MUMBAI: Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's journey to fame has been nothing less than inspirational. He is the man who changed how the way the world perceives Indian cinema and has been behind some of the iconic films in the industry.
Anurag's love for cinema knows no bounds and this shows in his home decor too.
The filmmaker was born in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Anurag wanted to be a scientist and enrolled himself in a zoology course at Hansraj College (University of Delhi). He then joined the street theatre group, 'Jana Natya Manch' and gained interest in films.
He started off as a writer and wrote a television series Kabhie Kabhie (1997), Kashyap co-wrote Ram Gopal Varma's crime drama Satya in 1998.
The filmmaker's Mumbai home is full of small souvenirs from his journey.

The director has an apartment in Mumbai that also has a room for his daughter Aaliyah Kashyap. The filmmaker's home is full of workstations, books, and a collection of everything cinema.
He has a part of his home dedicated to Martin Scorsese.

As visible in the pictures, the filmmaker's prized procession is his wall of movies and books. The film library room also serves as his workstation as he likes to do a lot of screenwriting in the same.
Anurag loves to entertain his friends and family in his dining room and also has a balcony attached to the apartment that provides for a gorgeous view of the city. The apartment is full of movie posters, curtains, and more.
His daughter Aaliyah Kashyap recently made her way back to the country and moved to her father's home in Mumbai. She titled the Vlog as 'vlog || day in my life in Mumbai!'
In the video, she took fans inside her redesigned room in the house. It is complete with a vanity mirror and a view of the city. "I'm just sitting in my room, in my dad's house, and I thought I'd show you guys my room. It's still in progress, but most of it is done.", said Aaliyah.
It also presented a view of the balcony in the home that serves as a working/relaxing space and has a hammock. Just like her father, Aaliyah's room has artsy look and a beautiful view of the city.
