Bhoot Police Review: This Arjun Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan starrer Horror comedy is half baked; serves entertainment in pieces

MUMBAI: After a long wait, horror comedy Bhoot Police starring Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yami Gautam, Javed Jaffrey and Rajpal Yadav has finally premiered on Disney+hotstar. No doubt the movie has been the talk of the town ever since the trailer and poster was out and now the movie has premiered and here is the full review of the movie.

The story begins with two brothers Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor who are the ghost hunters and accept the challenge to help two sisters played by Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez from the haunted witch. Who is that which and how the villagers are dealing with the situation and how they come out from this problem is shown in this movie.

The screenplay of the movie is very decent and it may not attract your attention every time in the duration of 128 minutes, also the direction given by Pavan Kirpalani is totally average.

Talking about the performances Arjun Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan had no doubt tried to serve something different but they landed doing something average, on the other hand Yami Gautam looks very beautiful and she is the surprise package in the movie. Jacqueline Fernandez on the other hand looks stunning throughout the movie and was also decent on her part. Javed Jaffrey and Rajpal Yadavwere having very less screen time.

The positive points of the movie are that there are few horror and thrill moments and the movie will keep you hooked and booked. Yami Gautam is a surprise package in the movie and you will surely love her. Also the relationship and brotherhood shown between Arjun Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan is one of the USPs of the movie.

Talking about the negative points of the movie, the movie is a major let down because of its same old concept. This is a horror comedy but it has less horror and less comedy. Whereas a few comedy scenes looked very forceful and the horror scenes were looking very childish.

Well having side all these points horror comedy Bhoot Police is a one time watch.

Team TellyChakkar goes with 2.5/5 for Booth Police.
