Divyanka keeps her friends near, foes nearer

Divyanka Tripathi and Sharad Malhotra, the lead pair of Banoo Main Teri Dulhan were supposed to be seeing each other. At the launch event of her new show, Mrs and Mr Sharma, we asked Divyanka her relationship status with Sharad and she claimed that they were “very good friends who our parents had trusted with each other’s responsibilities. We both are not from Mumbai and when we were doing Dulhann we were new to the city, to the set-up. Our parents were naturally worried for our well being and when they would visit us, they would ask us to take responsibility of each other and that’s how we came closer. But there’s nothing more to that.” And is all well between her and Kamya Punjabi her co-star and the antagonist of Dulhann. “Yes, I am happy for her. She had a baby girl and her life is now sorted out. I wanted her to be happy and now that she is happy and settled I feel very happy about it. There is no bad blood between us.”
