MUMBAI: Raqesh Bapat has been one of the most appreciated and respectable contestants on Bigg Boss OTT. Due to his patience and maturity, the contestant is admired by the fans.
However, at times the contestants are also caught in controversies for making derogatory remarks. And one of the most dignified contestants, Raqesh Bapat is also not left out from such controversies.

Recently Raqesh Bapat made a sexist remark against Muskaan Jattana. This even triggered host Karan Johar and he called Raqesh's remark sexist. This argument on the Sunday Ka Vaar episode did not make Raqesh’s family happy.
According to Spotboye, Raqesh's sister Sheetal believed that his words were misunderstood. She said, "His words were taken out of context and used against him. My brother and I have been working together in the field of girl child education, counselling and rehabilitation of domestic violence survivors, and various training for gender stereotypes and changing gender narratives in society. I know my brother and I know that the language used for him is very strong and he's being labelled for all the wrong reasons".
She also added, "It's a fact that men most of the time are physically stronger than women and the conversation was in the context of a task, when taken out of context, it has a completely different meaning. Also, the context was about two housemates but the entire conversation has taken out of context and the facts change when they aren't in context. Raqesh has always believed in women empowerment".

The final week of the show is here and six contestants would be competing against each other to win the trophy.
