MUMBAI: Prachee Pathak is an integral part of the television industry.

She has made quite a name for herself in the industry and while we saw her last in Udaan, she has once again come back to charm the audience with her stint in Dangal TV’s Rakshabandhan. In an exclusive conversation with Prachee, let us take a look at all what she has to say.

What made you say yes to the show?

The character, it’s very powerful and has many shades to it and I have not done any character like that before.

What is the X factor about your character?

The different shades attracted me actually, generally in television there are black and white character and this was very different, she is very loving mother and at the same time she is arrogant, she is a powerful lady.

What is the one thing that nobody knows about the struggle period?

Many people don’t know that I am pass out from National School of Drama, I am a trained actress. I was always very selective about the characters and I chose different kinds of role everytime, I started my career in Prithvi Raj Chauhan on Star Plus from there till now I did many different characters. I would be an actor because I am into theatre since childhood.

How is it to shoot with Nyra and Nishant?

I have not shot with Nyra yet but Nishant is very sweet and they are doing before me so they know the character very well and the language and I am having fun working with them and being the young generation they work very hard and are focused.

What is the one thing you would like to change about your character?

If I got a chance then I would not be this rude to Rassal, I would be a bit polite.

What was your first salary and how did you earn it?

My first salary was when I passed out from the Drama school there was a compulsory workshop and in that I got 8000rs .

Well said Prachee! (Also Read: EXCLUSIVE! I want to do something which breaks my image and has to definitely be performance oriented: Udann actress Prachee Pathak)
