MUMBAI: Actress Diksha Maan who was seen in the web series Poison season 2 is now all set to be seen in the upcoming movie Sridevi Bungalow which is yet to be released. The actress always looks forward to doing something different with her projects.
Team Telly Chakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actress Diksha Maan with regards to her acting journey where she also spoke in detail about her life before coming into the acting world.
Diksha Maan on her acting journey
Coming from Rajasthan, actress Diksha Maan has pursued engineering studies and since childhood she was into movies. Since childhood she has been watching Bollywood and Hollywood movies. The actress also revealed that her father always told her to do something different and creative in life. Her parents wanted her to become a singer but she was looking for something more creative in life. After giving it a thought the actress decided to shift her career from engineering to acting. In the year 2016 the actress joined theatre in Jaipur to polish her acting skills and it was the year 2017 when she came to Mumbai and gave several auditions and later bagged her debut project Sridevi Bungalow. The actress went on to get television commercials and few projects and since then there is no looking back for the actress.

Diksha Maan on the rough patch of her life
The actress revealed that the shift which she took from engineering to acting was very difficult and challenging. During this period she was very confused about what she would be doing in her life. For one month she was clueless about her goals in her life. But the actress took the chance and started her acting career by joining theatres. Diksha Maan also says that she is a big Irrfan Khan fan. Even he must have taken some gutsy decisions in his life to come to the acting industry. She also wished that she could share screen space with actor Irrfan Khan but this dream will be unfulfilled in her life.
The actress also expressed to work with director Tigmanshu Dhulia and actor Pankaj Tripathi.
Diksha Maan on types of character she looks forward to
The actress wants to do different characters in her acting career. The actress is looking for some challenging characters and some message oriented projects in her career. The actress says that she is not in favour of doing bold scenes. Such scenes can be done by symbolic representation but she is not comfortable shooting bold scenes.
