Exactly after seven years when they last worked together in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna in the year 2006, Rani Mukerji is all set to work in Karan Johar’s upcoming film Bombay Talkies. Giving Rani an equal support would be Randeep Hooda.
The film as a whole will include four 20-minute short stories. As a matter of fact, Bombay Talkies will see four directors collaborate in their resolve to commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema. Besides Johar, the other directors currently signed to the project are Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap.

It is said that Karan first cast Rani in his film after approaching many actresses for the role she eventually got. Since then the duo has been sharing a great rapport.
Karan is set to start shooting soon.
