Exclusive! "I made my mom sit next to me when I saw the original movie" - Nikita Dutta on her preparation for movie Dybbuk

MUMBAI: Ever since the trailer of the horror movie Dybbuk has been dropped, fans are eagerly waiting for the movie. Right from the trailer, we know it will be a fine, spooky thriller . The trailer of the movie was launched at a press conference held in Mumbai in the presence of the lead actors Emraan Hashmi and Nikita Dutta along with the director of the movie.

Speaking to the media and throwing some light on her movie, Nikita reveals that she gets scared while watching horror films. As we all know, this movie is an official remake of Malayalam horror movie Ezra. On asking the actress whether she had seen the original movie for preparation, she revealed that she had seen the movie but not for preparation. She made her mom sat next to her while she was watching the movie because even though her eyes were closed, she wanted to know what was happening in the movie.

The director had told her that even though she had seen the movie, she needed to forget everything and start fresh.

Emraan Hashmi has featured in many horror movies in the past. How can we forget movies like Raaz The Mystery continues, Raaz 3, Raaz Reboot, and Ek Thi Daayan? Nikita reveals that she had taken many horror tips from him as this is her very first horror movie.

Throwing some light on the premise of the movie, she said the story is based on a couple who goes on a holiday to Mauritius to overcome the tragedy of a miscarriage they had gone through. How they deal with some weird things after discovering a box will be amazing to watch.

Here is the trailer.

The trailer indeed is getting a fantastic response from fans all over, and we are eagerly waiting for the movie Dybbuk, which will premiere on Amazon Prime video on 29th October.
