MUMBAI : Web series Special Ops received immense praise from fans. The show was loved for its amazing storytelling and power-packed performances. And now, the makers are back with another mind-blowing season, which will be the story of the character Himmat Singh, which was played by Kay Kay Menon.
Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with Vinay Pathak, who is one of the leads. He spoke in detail about the show and his reaction when he read the script for the first time

Vinay Pathak on his reaction when he heard the script for the first time
When he heard that the team is going to get back with a fresh new season, the actor was very excited. When he read the first 4 episodes of the show, he was shocked. He wanted to play thd character and present his work to the audience. Vinay also says that this story is based on the character Himmat Singh and how he became the way he is. Surely, fans who have loved Special Ops will love this upcoming web show.
Vinay Pathak on doing some serious and intense characters
He has played some amazing characters over time. Largely, we have seen him in comic roles. On asking about his personal favourite, the actor revealed that noncomical roles are indeed very challenging but are fun to play. He has to go through the script at least three to four times to understand his character and its nuances. Then he can portrait the character in a raw way.
No doubt it is always a treat to watch him in different characters, and we are eagerly waiting to see what he has to offer in Special Ops 1.5. Right from the trailer, we can say that we are going to witness a rollercoaster ride of twists and turns once again. It will premiere on 12th November on Disney+Hotstar.
