Director Ritesh S Kumar talked about his recently released web series Bullet Pen. He also spoke about what inspired him to be a director and an actor he would like to direct.

MUMBAI: Director Ritesh S Kumar in this exclusive interview with TellyChakkar talked about his recent web series Bullet Pen. He then talked about his experience of directing the web series, an actor he would like to direct in his film, and Ravi Kishan.

Bullet Pen has already been released on OTT, How does the audience react to it?

Bullet Pen’s story is based on the place called Sataram which is in Bihar. When the web series was released, the people of Sataram were very happy about it. The audience reaction to the series was amazing.

What inspired you to change your profession from a colorist to a direction?

I have worked as a colorist for a long time. While doing the work, I developed an interest in direction. I like the way director use their imagination and I always love doing the direction. Then I made a short film which was liked by the audience a lot.

Is there any actor, you would like to direct?

Yes, I like Manoj Bajyapee, I would love to direct him in the future. It will be great if I ever get a chance to direct him. The way he does his character, how Manoj carries himself in the film is what I love the most about him.

How was your experience of working with Ravi Kishan?

No doubt, Ravi Kishan is a great actor. I have never worked with a big star like Ravi. It was my first time working with him. I was excited to direct him in the film and he supported me in all ways during the shoot of the film.

What are your future plans?

Right now I am working on the second season of Bullet Pen.  Currently, he is finishing the script of the web series. And if all things go well, he will start shooting the film in the month of February next year.
