Baa apologised to them, but Dolly and Sanjay asked her to forget about it and move on. Vanraj too apologised to the couple. After the photo shoot the family gets together for a family photograph and Vanraj asks Anupamaa to join in.
Later, they start the mehndi ceremony, when Anuj and GK come to their house. Anupamaa is worried that this might lead to another fight, but to her surprise it was Baa who had invited them. Baa apologised to them for misbehaving and tells Anuj that she respectfully welcomes Anupamaa's friend to their house. Vanraj too asks him to start afresh and welcomes him.
Anupamaa is happy that Baa has accepted her friend and shares it with Anuj. Anuj tells her that he is happy that she is happy. Babuji and GK overhear their conversation and Babuji tells GK that he asked Anupamaa to let Anuj and her relationship take its course.
