Exclusive! “When I got this character I was not sure about doing it": Keshav Uppal on his character in the web series Hiccups and Hookups

MUMBAI: Actor Keshav Uppal is getting some phenomenal responses from fans all across the globe for his recently released web series Hiccups and Hookups which also has Lara Dutta along with him. The show has been loved for its amazing storytelling and the matured approach to throw light on love and relationship. The character which is played by the actor Keshav is also getting some amazing responses from fans.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actor with regards to his character approach and also what made him say yes to the same.

Keshav on the response he is getting for the show Hiccups and Hookups 

Keshav Uappal reveals that he is getting some amazing responses from fans all across the globe for his character. The actor is seen playing a gay character in the web series, and he is getting some amazing positive responses, mentioning this character is different from what they have seen before. The actor is really happy to get such a positive response and he looks forward to entertaining his fans.

Keshav on saying yes to this character and project 

Talking about playing a gay character in this web series, the actor revealed it was the approach that was completely different. When he got the script and the character for the first time he himself was not sure about doing it. But this character was not like any other gay character, it had many different layers which were adding to it. It was also the beautiful story writing which made him say yes to this project.

Keshav on collaborating with Lara Dutta and others 

Keshav also revealed that it was a great shooting experience and he got to collaborate with such an amazing bunch of talented people including Lara Dutta and director Kunal Kohli. The actor also said that actress Lara Dutta is very comfortable to work with and working with director Kunal Kohli is a great learning experience for him.
