MUMBAI: Rakhi Sawant’s husband Ritesh received the biggest blow of his life as his first wife Snigdha Priya came out in the open claiming that he has not yet divorced her and that he is a woman beater.

She is going to file a case against Ritesh for outraging a woman's modesty. Ritesh addressed the claims and shared that she is doing all these to trap him. On the same, Ritesh mentioned, “This is not new to me. She has been torturing me since 2017. She has said that I was brutal and would beat her for hours. I want to ask why didn’t she filed for divorce since 2014. Why would she stay with a man like that? All these things are fake. The truth is that she had eloped with her nephew. I was silent till now for the sake of my son. She had spoilt my life already. I was in a deadly situation when I met Rakhi. Rakhi supported me. Now that I’m moving forward in life, she has come back to trap me again.
She had filed a case of domestic violence against me in 2017 whereas she used to stay with me hardly for a few months. If I had beaten her she should have gone to seek help from family, friends or police. Somebody must have known if I had beaten her. Chennai, where I have stayed, people there are educated and aware. I am not revealing anything now because she will be alert. I will give a formal interview where I will show all things with proof. I want to ask why her nephew, with whom she had eloped, would come only when I was not at home. People around me had asked this question.
I don’t want to do character assassination of a woman but she has been troubling me since 2017 and now I have to tell the truth. Because this has now gone on national television. Snigdha’s brother would attack me when I’d go for the appearance in court. I had filed an FIR for the same. When she had eloped, she took all the cash and jewelry.”
