Rakesh Paul, Anang Desai and newbie Mansi Sharma in SAB TV's RK Laxman Ki Duniya

SAB TV’s RK Laxman Ki Duniya will soon get a Mughal-E-Azam sort of feel with the entry of Akbar, Salim and Anarkali. As per a reliable source, the Vasavda family will want to teach their kids about Akbar. This is when they will accidently come across a magic wand. Result? Via magic, Akbar will come down from history to present. His entry will create a lot of chaos for everyone as Akbar will be worried about Salim getting married to Anarkali in his absence. This is when the magic wand will be used yet again to get Salim in this world to sort Akbar’s worries. But in a comic twist, Salim will enter the hallucinating mode, and consider every girl to be Anarkali. This is when the wand will be used again to get Anarkali in the present world. Hence, audience will get to see a laugh riot, all thanks to the deadly trio of Akbar, Anarkali and Salim. Now, Akbar will be played by veteran and talented actor Anang Desai (of Khichdi fame). Handsome man Rakesh Paul will be seen doning the mantle of Salim and newbie Mansi Sharma will enact Anarkali. When contacted Anang Desai he confirmed the same and said, “I am thoroughly enjoying the role. It is a cameo that is why I took it up.” Rakesh too confirmed his entry and said, “This is a comedy of errors and I play the cheapest version of Salim. But, I finally get to show my mad side in the serial.” The shooting for the same begun last week and the track will air from tonight (25 February 2013).
