MUMBAI : Dheeraj Doopar entertains the fans and audience with his stint in Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya.
As much as he is the perfect family man in reel life, looks like he is quite a gentleman and a husband in real life too. He is married to Vinny Arora and in a recent interview, he revealed that his life revolves around her.
Dheeraj mentions, “She is my backbone, and I need her for everything, from the smallest to biggest decisions. She has the final say in all my choices, including that of my career. Even my team takes her advice.”
Being back in Punjab reopens the dialogue for his Punjabi films debut. “I was so excited about Punjabi film debut last year but the second wave of COVID happened,” he says, adding, “I want to do every kind of film but start with commercial masala genre. Whenever I switch to films, it won’t be for the heck of it. It will be for content based cinema. I have reached that level in my career where I can dictate my choices.”
Commenting on one of contemporary TV’s longest running shows, 'Kundali Bhagya', Dheeraj says despite its long innings, there is no question of fatigue. “Irrespective of the fact that a show runs for long, every episode is like new for me. To say that I have portrayed an emotion earlier, hence cannot repeat it effectively, is incorrect. As an actor, I don’t think about things much. I just go and perform and I am quite happy the way my career is panning out,” he says.
